I’ve been working on this one for a while. Well, thinking about it at least. I started on it sometime in December of 2023, shortly after listening to the album for the first time. The line "We were tangled up like branches in a flood" and the manic departure in tone of the final refrain were what sold me on the song. Berserk itself is such an adventure in emotional highs and lows, a feeling that I hope I managed to capture in this video.
